Water and irrigation
India has been an agrarian country because of its varied landscape and the country’s economy as well as rural life is heavily dependent on agriculture for its livelihood. Millions of people depend on this agricultural system for their food. For an agrarian economy to sustain and thrive, one of the most important systems to be had in place is a well-designed water distribution system, in order to irrigate agricultural lands.Water resources are required for irrigation of farm lands and to provide drinking water to the millions of our countrymen.
Bhugan Infracon Private Limited, inspired by the vision of its dynamic Chairman Sri Ganeshbhai N. Patel, has undertaken major and minor irrigation projects for sustainable rural development. Our irrigation projects are very specifically focused on better utilization of water, by building a competent irrigation infrastructure, which includes dams, weirs, lift irrigation schemes and canal networks. For the success of the same, we partner with public bodies in designing and creating the irrigation infrastructure across India.
